I've read "Writing down the bones" also by Natalie Goldberg, and as much as I didn't think I'd enjoy reading it, it was hard to put down. Like you mentioned with this book, she talks you through the process of writing, gives you insight and story to ground you in the idea of writing, and then lets you experiment with it. It was very good, if you liked this one, you'll probably like "writing down the bones" as well. I’ll have to pick up this book.
